Kingstonfirst works in partnership to offer events all year round encouraging more people to visit the town centre.
All BID events are free of charge for BID businesses to take part in, and can help to increase footfall to your business.

JANUARY/FEBRUARY |
Chinese New Year- A colourful one day event in partnership with the local Chinese community. (BID event) |
MARCH/APRIL |
Easter Egg-Stravaganza- A one day family fun day held on Easter Saturday in Old London Road. This event draws new customers to the independent traders on this often forgotten street. (BID event) |
APRIL |
Spring Marketing Campaign - Kingston Food Festival. Designed to promote the huge variety of food and food related businesses in Kingston town centre. Includes special offers, visiting markets, cookery demonstrations and tastings. (BID event) |
MAY |
May Merrie. The annual May Day celebration with entertainment for all the family throughout the town centre. (Partnership event) |
JUNE |
Kingston Clean Up Week. A series of events, including the Junior Ranger Scheme and Tidy Business Awards, aimed at encouraging local staff and visitors to respect their local environment. (BID event) |
JULY |
Kingston Regatta and River Festival featuring 300 boat races downstream towards Kingston Bridge, historic boat displays and family entertainment. (Partnership event) |
JULY / AUGUST |
Thumbs Up It's Thursday offers free fun and educational activities for children aged 3 to 11 in Kingston town centre every Thursday afternoon throughout the school summer holidays. (BID event) |
SEPTEMBER |
Kingston Carnival. Annual grand carnival procession, with dancing, live music, stalls and delicious food. (Partnership event) |
OCTOBER |
Autumn Marketing Campaign - Beauty: Outside and In. Designed to promote businesses within the fashion, beauty, health and wellbeing sectors, the campaign includes fashion shows, competitions and markets. (BID event) |
NOVEMBER |
Christmas Lights Switch On. A Christmas spectacular to launch the Christmas season. Santa switches on the lights along with an army of little helpers. Free family entertainment around Kingston town centre all day. (Partnership event) |
