Rangers
Rangers and operations
Kingstonfirst is working to enhance the appearance of the town centre's streets by removing graffiti and adding new street furniture. Our team of Environmental Rangers monitors the streets with daily patrols and undertakes much of the remedial work.
Graffiti hotline
Kingstonfirst Rangers undertake to remove graffiti within 24 hours (subject to location and surface). Anyone who spots graffiti can simply phone the Graffiti Hotline on 020 8547 2507 and tell us where it is.
Meet and greet

Three Kingstonfirst Community Rangers have been appointed to meet and greet visitors to the town centre and undertake to provide any information they require. One of their key projects will be running our new Community Ranger Hotline: 07776 134040, which will ensure that all issues identified during patrols are directed through to the appropriate person for action as soon as possible.
Information booths
Kingstonfirst has purchased two purpose built information points, which feature joint Kingstonfirst and Metropolitan Police livery. These can be placed around the town centre at peak times for the safety and security of the public, and to provide a central point for all types of enquiries.
Cleaner Pavements

Pavements are regularly deep cleaned and gum removed. In 2006, 50,000 square metres of streets and pavements were deep cleansed, with well over 2 million pieces of chewing gum removed.
Fly tipped rubbish
In the first two months of last year, the Kingstonfirst, Environmental Rangers removed a staggering 20 tons of fly tipped rubbish
Flower displays

We are very mindful of the fact that an increase in town centre planting and floral displays will this year coincide with a hosepipe ban imposed on local residents. Our contractors have a robust water conservation policy in place, which will establish and maintain a bright and colourful feel to the town centre.
