What is a BID?

• A Business Improvement District (BID) is a defined area within which the businesses have voted to invest collectively in local improvements to enhance their trading environment. 
• BIDs aim to provide new or expanded services within the BID area, funded via a BID Levy charge, which is payable by non-domestic rate payers.
