Old Post Office

Radical plans are underway to redevelop the Old Post Office and the Telephone Exchange buildings in Eden Street. The proposed scheme is expected to make a major contribution to the regeneration of the town centre.

The development will provide up to new homes, shops, restaurants, offices and a community space, as well as restoring and bringing back into use these two listed buildings which are currently on the Heritage at Risk Register.

Property developer St George has won approval from Kingston Council for the plans which include four to sixteen storey buildings, representing a £100 million investment in the borough. For further information regarding the development, click here.
