Kingston Skills and Employment Working Group

The Group's focus is to provide training and employment opportunities for local residents and foster supply chain partnerships with local companies.

The Kingston Skills & Employment Working Group pulls together the resources of the Chamber of Commerce, Kingston University, Kingston College, Job Centre Plus, Adult Education, Kingstonfirst, the Council and various voluntary organisations to support major construction projects and expanding businesses in the Borough. New and growing companies in the Borough can therefore utilise local skills and business expertise.

The Group is working with major brands such as Berkeley Homes British Land and the Hilton Doubletree Hotel on a range of new training, recruitment and business to business opportunities.

For companies wishing to engage with the Working Group, email Phil Clement, Economic Development Officer at the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Council at [email protected]
