Now in its sixth year, this popular open-submission exhibition provides professional and amateur contemporary artists and craftspeople with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in two of Kingston's most prestigious public art venues - Kingston Museum and Art Gallery and the Stanley Picker Gallery at Kingston University.

Following five successful years of showcasing the work of artists working in the borough, this years the Kingston Contemporary Open art exhibition returns but with three new elements: Talk of the Town - a major educational exhibition by school children at Kingston Museum and Art Gallery, a public Art Fete at the Stanley Picker Gallery and a retrospective of the work of the five previous winners of the KCO Spotlight Artists award, which is sponsored by John Lewis, Kingston and will be on show in-store.

BREAD PUDDING CYCLE RIDE
Join us for a 25 mile cycle ride, starting from the Market Place under the Queen Anne Statue. Going out and returning to Kingston at an easy pace. Stop for about an hour for a pub lunch and later on for a tea and a slice of bread pudding. 10.30am start.

SUMMER ARTS SEASON
Another exciting addition to this year's KCO, is the launch of a Summer Arts Season in Kingston. As part of this programme, the new Fuse Gallery will open during June, Units 25/27 Eden Walk Shopping Centre. The work of FusionARTS artists will be on show at the Baxter Gallery, Kingston Grammar School and New Talent will feature the work of Kingston College's Fashion and Photography students at the Penny School Gallery, Richmond Road.
