Counter Terrorism Awareness Session

Home >> Events >> Counter Terrorism Awareness Session
20th March 2018 09.30
Venue: Richard Mayo Centre

Kingston First has organised a counter terrorism briefing for the businesses in Kingston town centre in conjunction with Kingston Police.

Project Griffin is a national project to raise awareness of the national terrorism threat. The aim of Project Griffin is to promote communication between the police and organisations, in order to develop a sense of solidarity among the many businesses of Greater London.

The presentation has been developed to help inform those working within Kingston town centre to gain a better understanding of the national threat from terrorism and of simple security measures that can be taken to protect businesses and organisations, encouraging the community to be vigilant and to report suspicious behaviour/activity in and around their local area.

Who should attend?

We recommend that managers, team leaders, facilities, human resources and office staff attend to then help feed back this knowledge to employees.
The session is free of charge to all members of Kingston First.
Places are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis.
