An extensive traffic management plan will be implemented on the weekend of 14/15 April as part of works to remove a footbridge next to Kingston Station affecting journeys in and around Kingston.
The section of Kingsgate Road under the footbridge and railway will be closed to traffic on 14-15 April. Diversions will be in place at the A310/Horse Fair roundabout in Hampton Wick for those wanting to travel from west to east through Kingston.
Kingston Bridge will be closed for eastbound traffic heading towards the town centre with the exception of buses, cyclists, those parking at John Lewis and Bentalls car parks and those accessing the riverside.
Additionally, due to engineering works on the Kingston line, there will be no rail services on Sunday 15 April from Kingston station.

Addtionally, Kingston Council have prepared a briefing note for businesses ahead of the works.
