BUSINESS CRIME REDUCTION – COURSE OVERVIEW
This course covers business crime in general, and associated anti-social behaviour looking at ways it can be prevented. It will cover a range of crime reduction techniques; target hardening measures and personal behaviours that people can use to make their businesses more secure.
The aim of this course is to equip learners with the skills and understanding to conduct security surveys confidently and use crime prevention techniques.
As a result of attending this one day course attendees will be able to:
● Identify the 10 principles of crime prevention, especially crime prevention through environmental design.
● To have techniques / tools that can be used to identify and respond to crime and anti-social behaviour.
● Understand the range of security measures available to reduce the level of risk associated with business crime and anti-social behaviour.
● Make appropriate, realistic and cost effective recommendations to reduce the risk of crime and anti-social behaviour.

This course is suitable for retailers including Business Owners, Managers, Supervisors, Loss Prevention Officers etc and those with responsibility for the store / employee safety and security.
