Mental Health Training

10.30am on 26 January 2021

Following on from research we carried out with our members, we’ve organised a Mental Health session for our businesses which will focus on stress and resilience.

The impact of COVID-19 has led to increased stress and anxiety in our personal and professional lives and we know that this plays a significant influence on our mental health and well-being. Therefore, it’s vital to be able to recognise and understand the difference between good pressure that causes our adrenaline to rush… And when bad stress starts to creep in, with a very negative sting in its tail. In a time where we’re experiencing many new and unique stressors, our ability to overcome them, let alone feel in control, can greatly impact our wellbeing. Once our wellbeing is adversely impacted, so is our productivity, too.

In this session you will learn how to identify when stress works for you, and when it doesn’t. You will recognise what your triggers are in order to minimise and control them. This will feed into looking at how we can increase your resilience in different parts of your life and understand why some of us are more resilient than others. Finally, we will be sharing coping strategies to reduce stress and feel more in control of the controllable, and the uncontrollable, and techniques to proactively improve your resilience over time.
