Training | River Safety – ‘Riverside Community Water Safety Training’
PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited numbers, this is for riverside businesses only.
We will be joined by the award-winning Thames Skills Academy to gain key skills and confidence to know what to do if you or a member of the public falls into the Thames.
Once completed you will receive a workbook of the key concepts, examples and practical techniques.

This course will help you to:
- Be aware of the hidden dangers of the River Thames and to take steps to minimise the risk of being in or near water
- Use a throw line and life ring
- Learn what to do if you or a member of the public gets into trouble in or near the water
- Give you the confidence to be able to react quickly in a dramatic situation
