Introducing Colour Your Senses, our new marketing campaign for Kingston
town centre

Colour Your Senses in Kingston invites local residents and visitors to rediscover all our town has to offer, recalling the familiar sights, sounds, smells, feelings and tastes of Kingston that we’ve all missed. To welcome people back, the town centre has been dressed with colourful cross-street banners, bunting, floor stencils, floral displays and exhibition boards, providing a splash of vibrant colour.

We’ve also invested in the deep-cleaning of our streets & spaces, and provided additional seating so people can enjoy catching up with friends and loved ones safely outdoors. Watch our new animation, produced by students from Kingston University in collaboration with Studio KT1, celebrating Kingston reopening and welcoming visitors back to the town centre.

Bright, bold and impactful, the Colour Your Senses campaign celebrates the unique experiences of Kingston and invites people to rediscover our town.

Rediscovering Kingston

Colour Your Senses sets out to achieve three things:

Welcoming

Providing a fantastic experience for residents and visitors as they return to Kingston.

We’ve dressed the town centre with colourful cross-street banners, bunting, floor stencils, floral displays and exhibition boards, providing a splash of vibrant colour. We’ve also invested in the deep-cleaning of town centre streets and provided additional seating and gazebos so people can enjoy catching up with friends and loved ones safely outdoors.

Impactful

Using bright, bold colour and fun messaging to encourage people to rediscover all that Kingston has to offer.

Our campaign focuses on the familiar sights, sounds, smells, feelings and tastes of our town, that are unique to Kingston. Through many executions across the town centre and online, the campaign has a strong eye-catching presence aiming to drive footfall into the town centre.

Engaging

Creating a sense of community and shared experiences as we get back to the town we all know and love.

People are invited to follow @InKingstonUK on social media and use the hashtag #ColourYourSenses to share their experiences of Kingston – from what they’ve been savouring in our restaurants and cafes, to the laughs shared with friends in pub gardens and the sunny scenes enjoyed in our beautiful streets and spaces.
