Training | River Safety Awareness & Throw Line Training with RNLI – May 2026
Riverside safety and specifically how to respond to incidents are really important skills for all riverside businesses to have to increase safety levels along the Kingston Riverside.
It will take place on Wednesday 20th May for all riverside businesses free of charge. This session will be led by the RNLI. We have a limited amount of throw lines that we are funding to give out for those that haven’t previously received one.
During the session, you will learn some key information about the dangers along the riverside and leave equipped with the knowledge and skills to be able to respond should someone go in the river near your business.
Who should attend?
We recommend that managers/duty managers/supervisors/team leaders attend on the companies behalf, or those from the business who would be comfortable responding in an emergency situation.
It is also recommended that you refresh knowledge every year. So even if you have attended before, its important to come every year.
