Kingston has been home to a bustling market for centuries, with the oldest surviving records dating back to the early 1200s—and it’s still thriving today.
The Ancient Market is home to over 20 permanent stalls and trades 7 days a week, 10am – 5pm. It boasts a range of traditional market stall holders, including a florist, fishmonger and greengrocers, an artisan bakery, and a vibrant street food scene serving up authentic cuisines from across the globe.
If you are interested in hosting a market stall, please note that there are currently no opportunities for hot food traders on the Ancient Market.
However, we are happy to hear from anyone interested in running occasional street food pop ups for ad-hoc events, or handmade goods and craft sellers.
Kingston’s Monday Market trades from 9am – 2pm every Monday in the Cattle Market surface car park. The market offers great value and great choice, including vintage clothing and fabric, books and cards, household goods, fruit and veg, meats, handmade foodstuffs, and much more.
