Kingston First, the town’s Business Improvement District is proud to announce that from 13th November to 28th December 2025, Kingston will come together with joy, laughter, and community spirit, to celebrate the most magical time of the year.
New this year, families can experience the magic of real-life reindeer right in the heart of Kingston. The reindeer will take over the grounds of All Saints Church for two special days – Saturday 13 and Sunday 21 December, 11am–2pm – offering a free, walk-in experience surrounded by festive lights, a giant reindeer installation, and the new light-up KINGSTON sign, set to be one of the most charming festive photo spots of the season.
The traditional Christmas Market will return with an expanded range of festive stalls offering handcrafted gifts, delicious food, and a bar serving mulled wine, cider and hot chocolate – perfect for warming up after a day of festive fun. The stage is also back this year, with live music to sing-along to, and create cherished memories with your loved ones in the welcoming atmosphere that makes Kingston so special.
Our bespoke Christmas lighting – unique to Kingston – will make a comeback, spreading the festive joy in the streets of the town centre. Other beloved ground installations will return, including the iconic Christmas tree, and the whimsical walk-through present.
On top of all this, with over 250 shops – from big-name favourites to unique independents – Kingston offers one of the best festive experiences in south west London. The town’s hospitality and entertainment scene is thriving too. Alongside much-loved pubs, cafés and restaurants, visitors can discover new venues such as Bonnie Rogues, Circuit, and Urban Fun – a multi-floor arcade featuring darts, VR and games – as well as two cinemas and a theatre, perfect for festive get-togethers.
