Kingston First has invested in the Mastercard Geographic Insights platform on behalf of our businesses.
The Mastercard platform provides businesses with powerful spend insights to understand the consumers who visit our town centre.
It uses anonymised and aggregated Mastercard purchase data to index performance and allows a better understanding of spend, trends and customer journeys for our town centre.
Brand new data that we haven’t had access to before includes data on number of transactions and spend broken down by week. In addition the Customer journey and spend breakdown by industry, which will be reported quarterly, enable us to understand which areas shoppers who spend in Kingston are coming from, and how industry breakdowns are changing over time.
