This week we catch up with the lovely folk at Jo Malone who have been a mainstay on the Kingston High Street for a whopping fifty years, offering up their unique fragrances and luxury products to the masses.
This week we hear about their long history, some of their unique lesser-known services (wedding fragrances anyone?) as well as what their team likes to get up to off the shop floor.
What does your business do?
Jo Malone London is a British lifestyle brand known for its unique fragrance portfolio and luxury products for the bath, body and home. Rewriting the rules of perfumery by mixing unexpected combinations of ingredients and providing elegant yet playful concepts.
Your history?
Since 1994 Jo Malone London has created a palette of exquisitely simple, refined scents and curated a world where every sense is indulged. Acquired by The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in 1999, today the brand is internationally known for its unexpected fragrances and distinctly British character.

At Jo Malone London all our unisex fragrances are designed to layer together to create your own unique scent. How long have you been in Kingston?
Our beautiful boutique has been in Kingston since December 2008, and we have built a loyal customer base. It’s wonderful to see so many familiar faces return!
Activities you have done in Kingston as part of team building? 
We are a very close team and always enjoy spending time together. Recently we had a team night where we went to an escape room at Escape Hunt in Kingston which was great fun.
Anything different you will be doing going forward?
We look forward to hosting more people in our store, after the last few years it’s wonderful to see events & services back in full swing. Currently, we are celebrating our World of Jo Malone London campaign which champions some of our most iconic scents. But watch this space as a new launch is on its way soon…
