Kingston First, the town’s Business Improvement District is proud to announce that from 12 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, Kingston will come together with joy, laughter, and community spirit, to celebrate the most magical time of the year.
- Our bespoke Christmas lighting – unique to Kingston – will make a comeback, spreading the festive joy in the streets of the town centre. Other beloved ground installations will return, including the iconic Christmas tree, and the whimsical walk-through present.
- Memorial Gardens will be transformed into an Ice Garden, featuring light installations, immersive soundscapes and touch elements. Free for the public to enjoy. Organised by Kingston First and delivered in partnership with RBK. Live date to be confirmed.
- Eagle Brewery Wharf will have a new light structure that will feature soundscapes and interactive touch elements. Free for the public to enjoy. Organised by Kingston First and delivered in partnership with RBK. Live date to be confirmed.
- New this year, All Saints Church will feature an extended Christmas Market, alongside a helter skelter and carousel from 12 November – 24 December.
- The traditional Christmas Market will return with an expanded range of festive stalls offering handcrafted gifts, delicious food, and a bar serving mulled wine, cider and hot chocolate – perfect for warming up after a day of festive fun. The stage is also back this year, with live music to sing-along to, and create cherished memories with your loved ones in the welcoming atmosphere that makes Kingston so special.
On top of all this, with over 250 shops – from big-name favourites to unique independents – Kingston offers one of the best festive experiences in south west London. The town’s hospitality and entertainment scene is thriving too, with much-loved pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as two cinemas and a theatre, perfect for festive get-togethers.
